I am so freaking tired. But it's been a good week overall. Classes started, getting back into the whole waking-up thing, but overall okay. I quite like Fullerton so far, teachers seem to be good so far which is a relief given that I didn't exactly have much choice who I got. Not much choice on the times, either, so two classes interfere with MOPS and mean I can't work it for the fall :( But I talked to Amy (boss, not sister), and she understood, said they'd love to have me in the spring if I can do it. So I'll at least do that. And today was the day we were to find out what's going on with the suit against the church (very long story, and better not told to many, so please don't ask), so I need to call Sue. If we're in the clear, I actually can work. If not... I've got nothing to do for probably several years. Which only just occured to me now, so I should call soon. But yeah, classes. I'm out by 1pm most days, except for mondays where I have one night class. So lots of free time. And the grading here seems to be more focused on exams, not by extremely too much, but enough. My second class today was cancelled because the teacher was sick, so I was actually able to go with mom and amy up to jess's for lunch, since Amy's moving to the dorms tomorrow. Went to La Salsa, discovered Aidan really loves rice and beans, he couldn't get them fast enough :P And I only ate one of my tacos, so started breaking the chicken from the other into bits for him... and he ate all of my chicken! Literally all of it, except for the burned or fatty parts I pulled out. And some tortilla bits. Hungry kid, and apparently he loves Mexican. Went back to Jess's place for a bit, since she needed help moving some furniture back into Aidan's room since they just had it shampooed. While they did that, I went and started sweeping off their back patio, which hadn't been cleaned for about the entire time they'd been living there, so was quite a mess. Swept up a full garbage bag of stuff, which is pretty impressive given the size of their backyard (the patio takes up half of it). Then gave up the sweeping and turned their hose on it, since it's the concrete that has all kinds of holes in it. It was quite impressive, the water went black at first. Now we just need to get the garden-half, which will likely take a lot of work. But it is quite nice out there in the afternoon. Some patio furniture and it would be perfect.
Then tonight at college group we watched Ishtar, which is ranked on the 100 worst movies list, but is one of Kirk's favorite ever. It was actually pretty funny, though it is one of those that I think you just have to be in the right mood for.
But I'm tired and going to bed. Need to get back on to some sort of sleep schedule :P
