Watching the Weston's yard, Sophia waited another five minutes after Harry had left. Everyday for the past week, she had been watching their every move, making sure they would be gone for this. The time had come. Scrambling fast, she climbed up her ladder and tossed herself over the fence.
Picking up her bag of tools, she walked the two steps to Dryphus' dog house. Pulling out the pry bar from the sack, she placed it under the corner of the house and stepped on it. Using all her weight, she lifted the dog house. She used her free foot to slip a cylindrical board under the dog house. Pulling the prybar out, she went around behind the dog house and repeated her actions.
With the dog house now on boards, she put four more of the round boards down in front of it. Rubbing her hands together, she walked behind the dog house and pushed. At first, the house refused to budge, then suddenly it got lighter and she fell as the house shot across the boards.
Grinning, she started to stand up. "Guess I don't know my own strength." Growling in front of her let her know that she wasn't alone. Glancing up, she tried for harmless. "Nice, Dryphus, it's just me, Sophia."
The German shepherd, dubbed Dryphus II, growled at Sophia.
Backing away slowly, Sophia made for the fence. "Good doggie, nice doggie. Don't eat the little old lady." Turning quickly as she saw the dog wasn't impressed, she ran for the fence.
Dryphus II gave chase, jaws wide and salivating.

"I still don't get why you did it!" Dorothy glared at her mother as the doctor sewed up her left butt cheek.
"He is a menace! That dog has already tried to eat three ladies on our block alone this past month. I thought if I could move Dryphus' house from the flimsy fence in Harry's front yard to the chain link in the back, I could secure him properly." Wincing, Sophia swung her pillow at the doctor. "Where'd you learn to stitch, Dr. Frankenstein?"
"That isn't even Harry's dog, he's Barbara's and he has been there only a week while she was on vacation. That means it isn't the same dog!" Grabbing her mother's chin so she would look at her, Dorothy glared. "You are going to keep on until it isn't just bite he takes out of you."
"Actually, he didn't take a bite out." Smiling as he cut the stitching, Dr. Freidekan set the needle aside. "Her muscles are still there, just seriously smushed. You won't be sitting on that for a while."
"Would you listen to him talk? Have you even hit puberty yet?" Sophia tossed her gown back over her butt.
Putting the gown back up, he grabbed her ankle. "Now, let's talk about this. How did you get your foot broken?"
"Forgive me, but I was a little too occupied with escaping to notice the dog could fly. He can take off well, but his landing stinks!" Slapping his hand, she pushed the gown back down. "After I went over the fence, he tried to play wonder mutt and followed after. His problem was that when he tried to land, I was already there. Let me tell you, no matter what they say, those dogs weigh a ton! Thank goodness I still had one good knee or I'd be kibble. That's one dog that won't have any trouble hitting the high notes."
