Well, these past few days certainly have been interesting, haven't they? I thought the last two curses were especially creative, although there's not much more I can say on that. It is a bit like talking about the weather - isn't it? - as one gentleman I know of pointed out once. It is a shame he has left now, though I suppose it's for the better in the end.
One project more or less completed, and another on my plate. Call it a personal irritation, but I am alternately skeptical of and intrigued by any mushroom that is said to restore life. Not that I don't believe the deities, because if they could lie about something such as that and get away with it I would be all the more intrigued by them, but I was already suspending enough of my disbelief just to assume that it is indeed possible to bring back the dead. Now they're claiming to have a mushroom that can do it? Someone alert the presses! Call the prime minister! Something! This is news!
Not only am I somewhat indignant at the notion that a fungus can do something that I cannot, but I am doubly bothered by the fact that I need to capture Cerberus' big brother a sentient bear to get it. I'm a little wary of the deities' sense of crime and justice ever since last month, but on the other hand... mushroom! I must study it.

Yes, self, I'm really happy for you and I'm going to let you finish, but last weekend was the best full moon of all time. Of all time.

Unrelatedly, it's been a few months since Yuuko and I have done something even vaguely party-like, so we were thinking of doing something for Halloween. Perhaps a costumed sort of thing? I don't know, I'm terrible at announcing these things. Someone give me formal card stock and gold ink! Either way, yes, barring some sort of terrible curse on that day, we'd like to celebrate.
It won't be especially scary this time, I promise.
