Death arrived in the hallway of Atobe Keigo's house rather than outside the door, in the interest of avoiding as many mortal beings as possible. He was invisible at the moment, because, as mentioned before, he would much rather not run into any mortals besides Atobe. He was looking forward to playing chess with this young human, and to ascertain, by seeing him in person, that he was as alright as he had been claiming to be online. He arrived at said mortal's door and knocked, his skeletal fingers making a clacking sound on the door.
