I really miss this community and all the Callica goodness here. I miss writing Callica too.. I sometimes read fiction posted on LJ and desperately want to write again, but i know i can't take the time to do so ( Read more... )

I know this will sound crazy but I was just thinking about you the other day (I run alot by myself and so I have a lot of time to think! :-) ). Anyway I was wondering how med school was going because I was thinking how hard med school on its own is but you said you had to learn Polish right?
So thanks for the update! Good on the next test!!

Hey!:) It doesn't sound crazy, it's really nice that people think of me!:) Yeah, i have to learn Polish, but it's not AS crazy as it sounds, because it's an English program so the classes are in English (kind of... Polish English is...questionable:p). It's more like they throw Polish and Latin classes in the mix. It's ok though. It would be nice to be able to study anatomy all those hours we spend on Polish, but it's nice to understand our surroundings a little more. We're living in a bubble and can't communicate with the people around us, which can be a little frustrating.

Thank you!:) I guess our anatomy teacher is right when he says that anatomy isn't difficult, it's just that it's so much of it that you can't afford to be lazy. It's not fun when i see people who can't string words together for a coherent English sentence, but who are great at remembering random strings of knowledge, manage to pass tests i flunk... I'm used to learning things in a different way; understanding the background, figuring out the logic of things, but this is just about remembering things, not necessarily understanding them. I guess i remember things slower because i want to understand things, not just remember them. I hope that'll be useful at the end of the year, when the exam will cover everything we've had throughout the year. Maybe it'll be better to understand rather than just remember then...

*hugs* That must be really hard. It's good that you're having fun with friends, but it sure doesn't fill that void... Life sends us in all different directions, and it's always for a reason, even if it takes a while for that reason to become apparent. I hope you find someone because you've got a lot of offer. Best wishes on all your tests! Reminds me of when I had friends in Engineering. It would be totally normal for people to get 20% on an exam, and then they'd just bellcurve everyone up. Totally bizarre.

Aww, thank you! It's hard when i feel something is missing and i can't really do anything about it. But i guess i'm moving forward, i'm even talking to my parents about how i want to find a girlfriend, and "finding someone" wasn't even something i talked to them about when we all still thought i was straight!

On these tests they don't really do that, you need to get those 16 points and if you don't, you fail. Chemistry is a different story... They keep changing the rules to adapt to our level of ignorance, which is kinda funny.

That's why I think your choice to move to Poland was so brave, maybe a little crazy! If I can't even find a girlfriend in Canada, how could I ever find one over there?! Best wishes!
PS Any other Callica fanfics to suggest. I have about 4 chapters left in the one you gave me recently, but she doesn't seem to update too often, so I'll be done really soon with nothing to read! :( Even my previous go-to Callizona writer hasn't done an epic fic in MONTHS, just drabbles. :(

If it makes you feel any better the girl I have a crush on is straight too. And I freaked her out by telling her I find her extremely cute.*sigh* its really hard to me to get girls too. I don't find myself attractive and a lot of other people don't either, or they just want me for sex. I'm not that kind of girl. I'm a virgin and I'm waiting for the special girl to give my virginity to. Am I stupid for that? The whole waiting thing? Oh well I'm not breaking my promise to myself. I always said id wait, so here I am all lonely. I just have to learn to Get over it. Lol.
