There is a nationwide Pet Photo Shoot at Walgreens on Saturday, September 27 from 11 AM to 2 PM. For a mere pittance ($5.99!), you get:

• The satisfaction of knowing that a $5.00 donation will be split evenly between Best Friends Animal Society and Delta Society
  
• A 5x7 color photograph of your pet (they say paws, claws, whiskers and wings welcome!)
  
• A photo CD with your pet’s image
  
• Pet treats and photo coupons

I so plan to do this with Lorraine. I want to get a professional-quality portrait of her, and this is a really good cause.

And just so everyone knows why I want to get professional quality pics done, I give you... PIRATE LORRAINE!



I should probably mention that a)I didn't take the original photo (can't remember who did) and b)I altered it in Photoshop because it was a really low resolution, and I wanted a larger pic. Special effects cover a lot of sins. I am happy with the result, however. *g*
