more paint-your-own pottery!

Tis the season of giving, or at least it will be fast approaching. Part of my plan this year is to give a lot of hand-crafted items. To that end, I plan to do some paint-your-pottery. I wanted to invite people to join me.
On October 13, 2007, I'm going to the Chantilly location of Clay Cafe Studios. I plan to be there from 11 AM to when they close, or when I finish (whichever comes first). You can get info here: http://claycafechantilly.com/store-location.php. I am going to be there, and I will probably break for lunch nearby. If you show up, great. If you want to let me know, great. You can call me on my cell if you have it, or drop me a comment/email and I'll send it to you. Feel free to join me.
If you don't know how these places work, you pay for the studio time (usually a flat rate at Clay Cafe, regardless of how long you take) and the price of the piece. You can find their specials here and the monthly coupon here (it's still for August, but call the store to check if they'll have something for this month). If you have kids, it can be a great experience painting a figurine or what with them. Or whatever. I'd just love to have the company.
I'll try to post a reminder closer to the date. If I can get to it, I'll post a price list before then, too. This will probably be the first of many such trips, before the holidays finally take their toll.
Yeah, I haven't posted in a while. And I haven't kept up on my f'list, either. I don't know when I'll get a chance to get back to read everyone. So if there is anything you think I should know, either call me, tell me when you see me in person or email me. I mean, I love you all, and I'm sorry my life is crazy-insane right now... please don't take my lack of keeping up as a lack of interest. *g* At least you'll have wonderful topics of conversation to share with me personally.
