I <3 my dad

'Kay, so I came back from Wendy's with Starr and Laura and I was enjoying my delicious frosty while my clothes chilled on Stephanie's bed, when I got an urge to listen to nothing but The Beatles. Not an odd thing for me. But, for some reason, I got really emotional when "The Fool On The Hill (Take 4)" from Anthology 2 started playing. I just burst out crying. I guess cos I was thinking about how my inheritance is all my dad's Beatles records and I just got to thinking I couldn't wait to burn all the Beatles stuff I have onto cds so he can listen to them. (He tried asking my uncle James to record his records onto cds, and while that worked, they sounded kinda crappy.)

Then I thought of calling him and I noticed I had a voice message. From him! :D He wanted to know if Glae wanted the Chucks that are all black, or if she wanted he ones with white soles/tips. I called him back, but he'd already gotten Glae the right shoes :D I told him about all the Beatles cds I now had that I'd burn for him and he sounded sooo happy! Then I asked about my messenger bag... He was so worried cos he couldn't find a red one so he got me a black one instead and... gah, I just love my dad. I love my mom too and I'm close to her, but I'm close to my dad in a different way. Hell, he taught me how to read. Doesn't get better than that.

And you know what?! HE STILL wanted to get me an iPod for Christmas! He said: "Do you want one of those picture ones?" Says I: "Dad, London is Christmas, okay? Don't worry about it, please." I wanted to give him the biggest hug in the world. I really don't want another iPod, I love love love my Moony. Yes he's scratched, yes he has a horrible battery life, but hey! That's why he's rechargeable! I like him having the four buttons on top of his wheel. It's like a paw print. :)

In conclusion, I have the best dad ever. :)
