I love Christmas music. NOT muzak that just plays in shopping areas and such (like I was telling Michael, Christmas muzak is EXTRA soulless). So I was going to make a definitive list of my favorite songs, but I think it would be a lot more fun to do an advent calendar. Of course, with links so you lovely people can get the songs if you like. I can't offer you people candy through the internets, unfortunately.
So two songs today, since I technically missed a day!
Both are from Vince Guaraldi's wonderful soundtrack for A Charlie Brown Christmas. These come from a fancy-schamncy cleaned up version and really, the sound is a lot better than the version I previously had.

Christmas Time is Here 2.
Christmas is Coming hint: I think it's almost Christmas.
The way I've felt the days go by, I swear it's going to feel like Christmas is tomorrow or some shit. Ugh.
I drove around with my dad today. We were in his car instead of mine, because the steering wheel on mine is acting up and/or missing a part. So I prooobably shouldn't be driving it. His car is uncomfortable, though. OH and the right turn signal doesn't work, and I didn't find out about this until HE TOLD ME TO TURN RIGHT. I freaked the hell out and my thought process was like: OMGOMG IT DOESN'T WORK!! WHAT HOW WILL ANYONE BEHIND ME KNOW IS THERE SOMEONE BEHIND ME OMG YES! OH GOD HOW DO I SIGNAL A RIGHT WITH MY ARM?? I DON'T KNOW THERE ISNT' ENOUGH TIME TO ROLL THIS WINDOW DOWN!! WTFWTF!!
Needless to say, we were okay. But seriously, wtf.
Still sick, but now I've gone from sounding like Aunt Lindsey when she's hitting on Steve Holtz to Phoebe in that episode where her voice gets all sultry and she can sing. I just have the speaking voice going for me, though.
AND LAST NIGHT I FINALLY FINISHED "THE KEYS OF MARINUS" SERIAL. GODDAMN, I THOUGHT IT WOULD NEVER END. I started it so long ago, then everything got taken off youtube, and I was so sick of everything I just wanted it to end, goddammit. I don't even remember what happened. I just know The Doctor ended up defending Ian in some court. Then suddenly: HEY IT'S THE TARDIS! SO LONG! I started "The Aztecs" last night, too. No idea why, I was already sleepy and irritated that I had to undo what I had of my scarf so far because I'd been crocheting wrong the whole time. BUT at least I finally like Barbara. She gets major points for knowing stuff beyond: omg human sacrifice!! @__@
