It isn't necessary to keep saying over and over again, "Well, it wasn't realistic or historically accurate..." BECAUSE IT WASN'T MEANT TO BE!! The film is an adaptation of a motherfucking comic book. COMIC. BOOK. NOT anything academic and historically accurate! IF the film people or Frank Miller himself had said, "Yeah, I meant this to be 100% realistic and historically accurate!" and they came up with this, then bitch all you want. Otherwise shut the fuck up and enjoy the bloodshed.
