give me books, in every cranny and all the nooks

Feb 06, 2007 00:09

I was wondering if perhaps anyone could recommend a good book? I know there was a library around here somewhere, but I've yet to make use of it. Presuming the island hasn't swallowed it up, of course~

Aha, I just figured I need something else to do here besides waste bullets. ♥

Though I've yet to see it myself, I'm afraid I would find any library that the island has to offer a bit suspect, ah ha ha. . .

Well, really, I'm just a little, ah, wary of what happens to actually be available for check-out. I'm sure Island-san means well in providing us with a library, however~.

You never can tell~ Most days I think the island is only out to annoy us, then others I forget it's alive at all!

That would depend on what kind of genre you're looking for, of course.

Anything by Dostoevsky is always worth a read O.O Crime and Punishment is considered a classic.

... It is a story about a man known as Peter Hobson who investigated life and death which lead him to create three seperate electronic versions of himself. One has no memory of physical existence and represents life after death. One has no knowledge of death or aging and represents immortality. The third is left unaltered as a control. However, all three have escaped into the worldwide matrix... one of them is a killer. *paraphrased from an overview*
