give me books, in every cranny and all the nooks

I was wondering if perhaps anyone could recommend a good book? I know there was a library around here somewhere, but I've yet to make use of it. Presuming the island hasn't swallowed it up, of course~

Aha, I just figured I need something else to do here besides waste bullets. ♥

Though I've yet to see it myself, I'm afraid I would find any library that the island has to offer a bit suspect, ah ha ha. . .

...You know, that never crossed my mind!

Well, really, I'm just a little, ah, wary of what happens to actually be available for check-out. I'm sure Island-san means well in providing us with a library, however~.

You never can tell~ Most days I think the island is only out to annoy us, then others I forget it's alive at all!

Ah ha ha, indeed~. It's rather easy to forget that the island is sentient--

Except, of course, when she decides to make herself known in various odd ways. I still don't quite understand the reasoning behind the appearance of that boat, for instance.

It does get creative! I've been here for months, and I've yet to see it rain... well, rain.

...Boat? I'm... ah... I'm afraid I missed that.

My, that is rather odd! I've only been here long enough to see the lobster and soda rain. One would imagine that a tropical island such as this would see its fair share of normal rain.

Oh, is that so? My, I thought it was rather difficult to miss, really. It seems that it's still around, though, so perhaps you'll see it soon enough?

It did hail once! And we had a blizzard~!

Perhaps! I'm assuming it's not actually here to take anyone home, though.

Regular hail and regular snow? Ah ha ha, given the nature of the island, that's actually rather unexpected.

Yes, I imagine that's a safe assumption, unfortunately. I don't imagine the Island intends on letting too many people leave at once, as convenient as that would be.

It was a full-scale blizzard for a few days. I'm actually surprised everyone survived.

Even if the ship weren't an island trick, it couldn't get past the barrier anyway~ At least, I doubt it.

Ah, well, I don't think Island-san actually intends for anyone to actually die here. She seems to mean well, despite how. . . bizarrely she acts, the few times I've spoken with her.

I think the ship itself is real enough -- I've overheard a few people talking who have actually explored the ship. However, I don't hold many high hopes for their attempts at using it to break through the barrier, ah ha ha.

mm, I've only ever spoken with the island once, when I first arrived. I believe she called me an accountant or some other such nonsense.

I think I'll keep my distance, just in case~ ♥
