Well, Russell is after Sookie too, and her fairy blood is ~a vampire's dream~ and Eric knows he cannot defeat the king, so he's going to con is way out. (Can I spoil you about the nest episode?) Like I said in my entry, I hope its just his way of protecting himself and Sookie and Pam from him. He better have reasons for acting like such a jerk.

And I think the king has misunderstood that her ~fairy blood will let him go out in the sun without frying (like Beeeel could) and so maybe Eric will fool him that way. I dont know if you've seen the pics from the season finale, where Eric is out in the sun and gets burnt too, so im crossing my fingers that all this is a plan of his, cuz he knows the king will kill him, and Pam, and Sookie.
