The Beginning is the End is the Beginning (or was it The End is the Beginning is the End?), yes, from the soundtrack to Batman and Robin eight million years ago. I get flustered when I hear music from one movie in another, especially if it's an important theme in the initial film. Seems like I am being cheated, someone's being lazy.

Granted, Batman and Robin was not a superb flick. Perhaps those songs deserve another go. But still...

Have you seen the Watchmen trailer? Fuck Batman and Robin, the song was made for this trailer.

I have seen it, once at home on the comupter and the other time on the IMAX screen before The Dark Knight.

The song did fit well, but I had that twinge of familiarity. I'm open to new uses, it's just that initial recongition where I am irked. It can be harnessed. :)
