I just finished watching the Peter Jackson version of King Kong. It is not good. It is not bad, per se. It's got great production values, and I guess I don't have a problem with the acting. It's just not good. When it came out in the cinema I never wanted to go see it, and I'm glad I didn't. I'm sure it'd all be more impressive on the big screen, but there's something about it that would still have left me decidedly underwhelmed.
Anyway, check it - I bought another t-shirt. a Dr. McNinja one this time, about
the benefits of fire. I did this because I am awesome and my t-shirts are my awesomeness.
Over the past week I have been totally addicted to The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess. That game is the shit. It's totally
mathematical. It's like, 50 games in one. Today I beat up a giant skeleton using nothing but Link's awesome new skateboard.
Earlier this evening, we finished making Chris and Grant's as-yet-unnamed characters for Exalted: Pirates of the Wyld Tide. Testing them out in combat, to get used to the rules, it was discovered that Chris' dude could take out a Ninja Dinosaur in two attacks, barely breaking a sweat. Of course, Grant's character died in the process, teaching him the valuable lesson that you should never willingly jump into a tyranosaurus' mouth.
