I have realized that I am now unable to enjoy anime for what it is anymore when I caught myself paying less attention to the dialogue in Valkyria Chronicles than to the fact that the Bruhl Patrol chicks have Grade A zettai ryouiki. And this is like the first scene after the credits. And it's not even fetishized - it's just, "...wait, is that sum zettai I see? Is that a GRADE FUCKING A?" (It might actually become a grade S if Alicia turns out to be tsundere. She already has the dual pigtails. Susie - if we ever see her again - is hopeless. She's just a quivering pile of goo that'll be stuck in the hinterlands between Grade A and Grade S.)
...the fact that I'm primarily deciding to pick this up now (yeah, I know, a year behind the times) because I heard that Largo appears shirtless in one episode (oh yeah and the carrot commission - which I was not responsible for, but then ended up shitting brix because of it) is also a factor.

Well, aside from moving - I'm pretty much settled in now - I've actually...felt slightly less attached to the Internet nowadays. Which is quite the good thing, I think. I've actually made a friend at work and a friend outside of work. It's kind of cool that I actually am beginning to get a life now instead of just sitting on Gaia and RO all day.
Well, I shouldn't say "get a life." I honestly don't regret my time on Gaia or on Ragnarok Online. And really, there were a lot of rich conversations and a lot of me being kept sane. But it's nice to have a couple of friends that I can talk with face-to-face again.
