IDK, my BFF Jill?

Somehow, I think that waiting until the second week to get a textbook is a BAAAAAAAAAD idea.

Good news: I got it in time to do the assignment. Bad news: I didn't even finish it (I left out an entire section, though that section had the least problems) and I had to sprint to class because I was in the library doing it (for once, I hardly used TEH INTARWEBZ during the day) and when I came down to the first floor, it was five after.

EWPS.

But I handed it in, got there in time to finish the quiz the prof was handing out, and I was basically Jesus powered.

So, so far:

Hum 101: Shoot me now. I forgot how utterly retarded high schoolers were. I should have passed this the first time around, because this class is like the lowest layer of Hell. (Granted, humanities and tech schools don't mix, but Jesus, are kids this retarded since I graduated 5 years ago?)

Like, one frosh was like, "I'd trust the Record because of the font they use in their header because it shows that they're established and pay their reporters a lot." To be fair, he was doing fine until the last part, but I was like, "I want to DIE" halfway through it.

Math 213 (Calculus III): Like I said, Dr. Petropoulos is much less of a sadist than Dr. Muratov. Still, though, the material is kicking my ass. Again. Good God, that shit is bananas.

Math 337 (Linear Algebra): Prof. Porus is kind of funny, and he's actually kind of cool. It's weird since I did the course sequence in reverse (I did 340 last semester, which touched on a lot of the topics), which I kind of regret because...this makes them seem a lot clearer now.

The only problem is the prof is about 5 years older than the rest of the class, so about 2-3 years older than me. So he looks exactly like one of the students. This led to an interesting story he told at the beginning of lecture.

This was also the class I had to rush to finish HW in. I'm happy I just got it in, though I'm disappointed I didn't finish it all.

CS114 (Intro to Comp Sci II, Data Structures): I hate this subject with a passion. But I might as well try to improve my grade in it. That said, Dr. Zhao wasn't that unclear. (Unlike Prof. Ma last term, who either spent most of his time haranguing us or talking with marbles in his mouth.) And it's kind of nice because there were only 7 people in our section. I was anticipating more, so I sat near the back. Next time I'll sit closer to the front.
