I reserved the last 10 minutes of my work day...
for you people because I like you. Today was pretty bad work-wise. December and January tend to be our busiest months, and I just so happen to be taking the bulk of my vacation during this time. This means I have to push all of my 4th/early 1st quarter marketing initiatives up a few weeks... and well, I'm not handling it all that well. I'm working with Google right now to do a search engine advertising campaign for the beginning of 2008. They charge us by the click, so when it comes out... if you want to see it... I'll email it to you! :)
I bought new curtains for my living room on Saturday.. about $200 worth on sale. Bedroom curtains will come when I get a raise. You're probably thinking they are fancy curtains. You're wrong. If you've seen the size of my window, you'd understand. For those of you curious about the details, they are brown. That's about as detailed as it gets. I also bought 2 decorative drape-like things to go at the top. I will pay someone in love and affection to help me put them up... or bring me a screwdriver at least.
For those of you who love Community Coffee, you'll be proud of me. I decided it would be a good idea to send our new students a gift with their order since they have the potential to order thousands of dollars worth of products from us in the future and also since referrals are 85% of our business. Each new student will get a pack of CC coffee - medium roast, with a card I designed signed by our staff. Since we are nation-wide, the bulk of our customers haven't even heard of Community Coffee. I wanted to send them something that would say the south but still be something most of them could/would use. I ordered this cute country-style ribbon. Brown....natural.... and it looks good with the package.
I wish it was next Wednesday.
