Today is my day -- hooray!
For those of you who constantly check Livejournal to see if anyone posted (I'm included in this list), I sincerely apologize for not following through on my Tuesday's with Kristy last week. I have a lot on my plate this week at work, but in the midst of my frustration this afternoon, I decided it would best to take a breather... relax... and reflect.
I hope you guys have had a good week thus far. Tuesday's suck... but hey, at least it's not Monday!
For those of you in school (and I'm pretty sure the majority of my readers fall into this group).... it's almost Thanksgiving break... and then Christmas! I know how much school sucks, and I'm not one bit jealous of your current situation. With that said, I am also deeply sorry. :(
Like Winston Churchill said, "If you're going through hell, keep going." I know some of you are thinking... "Yeah, but that bastard didn't go to law/vet/dental/pharmacy school." Don't let it frustrate you. I'm looking forward to being friends with all you doctors and lawyers. I have my needs too, ya know. =)
My trip to Chicago was nice... and short. I will probably have to go back in January. For those of you who haven't been there, it is such an amazing city. Absolutely beautiful. I've never been to New York, but I'd imagine it's pretty much the same... with nicer people. As my plane flew in, I saw what Fall is supposed to look like. The weather is so pleasant... not cold... but just right. My presentation went well. I was intimidated of course, but that was expected. More than anything, this trip taught me that age really doesn't matter. I left with 150% more confidence than I had going. As you know, I'm not the most outgoing, confident person out there. Is that applause I hear?? It better be!
Reservations for Disney World are made! Minnie and Mickey, here I come!
