10 years ago: Third grade. My last year in private school. My favorite band was Hanson. My favorite outfit was a pink and white striped Calvin Klein tee under blue jean short overalls and I wore it at least twice a week. I had no sense of fashion. My two best friends and I tried to run our own business at summer camp selling gemp bracelets and painting nails; we soon learned that this was prohibited.

5 years ago: Seventh grade. The first year I learned my name was not "grown up" enough for the real world. Jeff Lentz had my back against the evil Baylor. I was second chair trumpet in the band next to Christine Clayton and I thought Mr. Welburn was god. I was a synergy dork, but popular at the same time. I took the SAT for the first time and got a 1080. Katelyn Andrews and I led the team on our Titanic routine at Dance Camp. I stayed in the dorms at UGA for a week and hated it. I attended Camp Woodmont with Jessie Mauldin for the second summer in a row and got to watch 5 guys perform as N'SYNC in a lip sync contest. They won, mostly because they weren't wearing shirts. I couldn't wait to start high school.

1 year ago: I was going into my senior year. My heart belonged to a tiger, though he didn't know it yet. I had my first real job working at Limited Too. I spent most my time with people older than me. I was scared of saying goodbye. My favorite colors were pink and black. I bought an awesome birthday present for what seemed like the first time in my life. I had no clue what college I wanted to go to. I went to see RENT at the Fox with 3 friends, got moved up to the orchestra pit, and Constantine crossed the street to meet us. Root beer was the new god, and i was most definitely down with the g-o-d.

Yesterday: Celebrated my best friend's birthday.. in style.

Tomorrow: Going shopping for college stuff with my dad. Possibly hanging with miss carly (mb3 posse!) Maybe cleaning my room.. right..

went shopping with the fam today. bought a comforter and matching pillows on clearance at macys. also got a few dresses and two pairs of shoes for a bargain. came home and celebrated my brother's birthday with my dad and stepmom even though it was 2 weeks ago. yeah separated families. then watched Hide and Seek together. reminded me of an incredibly less scary version of the shining in a way. not nearly as good though. kind of retarded actually.

just finished scanning a bunch of pictures from graduation and such. maybe i'll post those soon.
