The Word of the Day is Change

Holy crap. I didn't post at all during 2012. That makes me sad. I don't know why. I'd say it's because I was so busy (which I was), but that's a lame excuse. I'd like to get back into writing because it's fun. I wish that more people still read this, because I like to see what people have to say. Sometimes it's good to have an outsider's opinion.

I've been wanting to write lately for a lot of reasons, though I guess I'm only willing to actually talk about a few of them here. There have been some major shake ups at work. Of the four pharmacists I work with at two different stores, 3 of them are being moved to new stores. I suspected something was coming, but this is more drastic than I anticipated. I hope it's for the best. I'm nervous about it though. I like status quo when things are normal and the same and I can predict what'll happen and when. I think I'm excited about two things though. I'll get the chance to prove myself at my new store that I'll be at full time (I'm guessing? Who knows anymore). I'm also happy that people at the store I'm leaving are sad and that people at the store I'm going to are happy. It's nice to feel liked and I'm glad that people will miss me. But I'm sad that I'll be leaving a really great group of people.

I also have some devestating musical news. Adam Gontier (aka the lead singer of Three Days Grace) has left the band. I think my heart honestly broke a little when I heard the news. He says he'll continue making music, but it just doesn't work from what I've seen with other bands. Giant, sad, mopey sigh.
