YESSSSSSSSS BRUINS ADVANCE TO THE CONFERENCE FINALS, I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT, BOYS.

so excited. KRUUUUUUUUG. Please just never leave us, child. They've finally released Krug shirts and I want one like burning but I have to wait till payday. KRUUUUUUUUUG.

So next up we play the Penguins, which will be crazy. And awesome. And scary. I'm gonna have a nervous breakdown by the time this series ends. But they are at the top of their game, as we are at the top of ours, and I just can't wait to see what happens. Sorry, Pens, but I'm rooting for my hometown boys 1000%. THE FUCKING CUP, BABY.

So I ended up having to catch most of the game tonight on the radio, because Saturday nights my parents and I volunteer at a cat shelter. And, since my fancy new phone has a fancy new camera, I figured I'd take some pics of adorable kittehs for you guys. Who doesn't love adorable kitties?

this is Cupid, she's the most snuggly cat in the history of cat snuggles. She likes to tuck herself under your chin and gives you chin-baths (which I guess to a cat is a pretty big favor). If I had my own place, I would take her home.

This is Mackenzie, she and her twin sister are about 9 months old, and holy terrors. Don't let those innocent eyes fool you.

Addison, who looks just like her sister and her mom. But they all have colds right now, so they're all sniffly and sneezy. It's pathetically adorable.

And this beautiful monster is Pedroia (can you tell we live in the heart of Red Sox Nation?) When he first came to the shelter a year or two ago he was a total monster, attacking every cat and person he came into contact with. He's mellowed out into a mostly harmless grouch now, where he likes to occasionally throw his weight around, but half-heartedly, just to remind everyone he can.

He occasionally accepts my attention, more and more often lately. But his rejections just make me more determined to win his love. Like, if he were human, this would be a super unhealthy relationship. I JUST WANT YOUR LOVE, GROUCHY CAT.

He's so ridiculous.

And lastly, some kitty love:

Sullivan and Bambi have both been at the shelter for years, you can always find them curled up together.

Aaaaand that's way more than you needed to know about my foster-babies.

Tomorrow the family and I are going to the Sox game. It's gonna be cold and damp, but whatever, it's still better than a day doing pretty much anything else.

fuck yeah hockey, crazy cat lady, because it's the motherfucking cup, torey krug have my babies, badass bruins, playoffs will be the death of me, gratuitous pics post, boston: great city or greatest city
