stupid winter
aaaaaargh fucking hell, it's snowing. I think we're supposed to get about 3.5 inches, which is just fantastic, because I'm working late tonight, and early tomorrow. So I get to repeatedly clear the snow off my car & drive on slippery roads. Awesome.
...but it is kinda pretty.
In happier news, the election! All the candidates I voted for won (suck it, Scott Brown), which makes me really happy. And we have our first female Senator! Which actually surprises me, come on Massachusetts, it took us till 2012? But no matter. At least this means an end to all the nasty political ads I've been seeing nonstop for months. Maybe now they can focus on actually getting shit done.
Also, Maine and Maryland passed ballot initiatives to allow gay marriage, which makes my heart happy. I know, it's the east coast, not really a surprise, but still, it's a step in the right direction.
Aaaaaand now I must go to work. The Thanksgiving rush has started already, but maybe the snow will keep people home. I hope.
