But it explained so much.

I believe that the Universe exists in her own festering patterns;

And her people.

I’ve cried the tears of Nefertiti

Like she did when she lost her king and half of her beloved city.

reminded me of how how powerful the mind is. How it can push a person through or pull a person down- or how someone can use it to do it to you. This was what that felt like. Harsh, deep, and thought provoking.
