Wasn’t peeking,
But I read that your mind was your best friend.
Just a title,
But it explained so much.
I believe that the Universe exists in her own festering patterns;
And her people.
I’ve cried the tears of Nefertiti
Like she did when she lost her king and half of her beloved city.
If love cares to evolve with the masses far into the future,
A flying girl in love an eon from now will shed the heartache I have from my own eyes.
I know your patterns,
And I dare say that I know your mind.
It’s ever-changing to what pleases you.
Rejecting negativity,
And you let your thoughts fester;
Hide them with that lovely smile.
I’ve befriended the thought of loving, having, and hating you over and over.
Whatever pattern I have in my mind and heart is the brutal opposite of what’s in yours the second I admit it to you.
Free me if you even consider what’s in your mind.
It will only let you fall.
It won’t allow you to notice your destructive cycle.
It won’t let you be in sync with me the way you should be.
I’m tired of fumbling around you,
Up and leaving every time your hatred switches on.
Jumping out of moving vehicles when you feel like abusing my psyche.
Just look at my knees.
