Gamers Of The World Unite!

I'm sure many of you have heard about the infamous "hot coffee mod" sometime within the past month. Well, for those of you uninformed bastards, the "hot coffee mod" is a hidden mini-game in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, that apparently, the designers neglected to remove completely out of the game. What's so bad about it you may ask? The mini-game depicts explicit acts of sexual conduct involving oral sex, doggy style, and other things that I didn't even know there was a name for. This little mishap has gotten the game banned in Australia and also received an AO (adults only) rating. An investigation is currently being launched by the Federal Trade Commission to find out whether or not Rockstar intentionally avoided disclosing the "hot coffee mod" to the ESRB before the games release.

Sounds good right? Rockstar finally gets the shaft for making shitty games and all is well with the world. Nope, things aren't that simple. The recent controversy has attracted the attention of Jack Thompson and Hillary Clinton.

Thompson, as seen above, is an anti-video game prick from Florida. Thompson believes that video games are the main cause of violence in youth. I don't even think that I have to elaborate on the remarkable amount of BULLSHIT spewing from this ass-ticklers mouth. What Jack seems to overlook is that parents DO have a responsibility to monitor the content of the material being viewed by the child. Is it the game developers fault that an inattentive parent is taking no responsibility for their children's actions? Jack would say yes. Jack believes that it is solely the game developers fault for any sort of violence that is a first, or second, hand result of the violence in video games, and the child and the child's parents are completely innocent. DROP DEAD JACK!!!!!!

It's not even possible to express my contempt for Hillary Rodham Clinton in any known language. Of course she is proposing more stringent laws to be placed on video games, as she did for music, movies, and just about any other form of entertainment besides oral sex (way to go Bill, you found a way around your bitch of a wife).

So when is it the parents responsibility and not the game developers? Who is ultimately responsible for what children view in video games? THE FUCKING PARENTS THAT'S WHO!!! Who's fault is it when a kid's asshole parents are outside of Rockstar headquarters picketing while the kid is at home jerking off to the "hot coffee mod?" The government and the ESRB are doing their jobs. Rockstar is going to be looked into by proper authorities, there's no need for fascist protesting groups like the Peaceholics. Go home and take responsibility for YOUR children. The same thing happens with music, movies, etc. Parents are too irresponsible to look after their own kids. And when their kids go and shoot up their school, it's never the kids nor the parents' fault. It's always the music, the movies, the violent games, bad friends, never the real problem.

Florence Cohen, 85 years old, is even going as far to sue Rockstar games for deception, false advertising, fraud, and abuse. Why? Because SHE bought an M-rated game for her 14 year old grandson. It can't possibly be HER fault, no. It's the ESRB's fault, it's Rockstar's fault that SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN EUTHANIZED AFTER REACHING THE AGE OF 60!!! They lied to her, it's not like the box specifically told her what the rating was and what kind of material the game contained. And it's not like it specifically says on the display window "M-rated, content inappropriate for persons under the age of 18." FUCK YOU FLORENCE!!! The ratings are there for a reason, not for you to disregard as overprotective bullshit.

Well I hope that any gamer who reads this feels the same way I do. We need to stop letting arrogant politicians suppress us with their inane accusations and bullshit policies. And for you non-gamers, before you start making accusations about violent video games, think about ALL the aspects of the problem before you start making your opinions.

Hasta La Victoria Siempre
