So Amy and I got best friend tattoos. They are red ferns. If anyone doesn't know the story of Where the Red Fern Grows I'll sum it up. One dog dies and the other dog dies soon after because it's heart is so broken that it can't go on. The boy buries them together and a red fern grows between them. That is the story of the tattoos.
