Big Brother

Hello, all. Mom just finished cleaning my room. It was kind of a shock to see it so..spotless, lol. I've actually gotten quite used to seeing it with clothes draped everywhere, stuff lying where it shouldn't be...I sort of miss the feeling of untidyness. But I have to say, the change is mostly welcomed..everything smells so nice and pretty, lol.

Well the new season of Big Brother started tonight - it's on now. As much as I like to think myself above stupid reality tv shows, I can't help but notice I can't stop watching it even while writing this. I think the main reason I try to stay away from them is because I always manage to miss like 2 in a row due to forgetfulness and lazyness and then I don't know what's going on and get mad.

I'm talking all, weird, I dunno, I don't feel quite like myself. It might be because I'm reading this book called "I capture the castle", and it takes place in England in about 1930. So yeah, needless to say the language is a little, proper, and it's rather catching (hehe, note the rather I threw in, just for kicks).

Ahh..I helped out at a birthday party today, Marcus's, he's turning 6. It was surprisingly fun, lol. It was a swimming party and I got to go swimming in their pool, it was great..cold, but great. It made be miss being a kid myself...wow, it was all so simple back then, wasn't it? Not to sound as if I'm about 40 now, but still, alot has changed since those times.

Haha, back to Big Brother for a minute..I just have to say how falsely dramatic the producers can make it when things are getting boring. There was just like 3 minutes devoted to when a woman said she had a twin sister, and then a guy was like, omg, I have a twin brother, we've never been apart for more than for days, blah blah. And then he went in that room...the diary room? lol or something, and was like, I couldn't believe when so and so said she had a twin..and then I stopped listening. Haha how amusingly stupid!

Anyway I'll leave you now to think about the stupidy and catchingness of reality tv, I'm going back to reading my English book, woo!
