I used to feel proud, but my faith has been worn away. So much 'British Stiff Upper Lip' seems to have been lost and replaced with depression, yobbishness and defeatism....caused, I feel, by a society aimed at being 'helpful and careing' and letting idiots get away with murder (sometimes literally).
The road to Hell....etc

I've thought long and hard over this. Much more thought has gone into it than I intended.

In the end my thought process went like this.
I wasn't going to respond one way or the other because I had no feelings on the subject.
This gave way to the idea that if I were proud of being British, I would have feelings one way or the other. So here's my reply.

1. Apparently not!
2. I wouldn't know, I'm not European (That's a whole debate unto itself. I drive on the left, I don't use appliances with weird plugs on them, and I don't buy things using the Euro. If I did any of these things, I would be European.)
