The catch-up of the first three episodes are beneath the cut...
For Canadian readers, Global has a contest to win a trip to the
Survivor Finale in December...
For the 25th season, they brought back 3 player who were medevacced from the earlier seasons: Michael Skupin *
Season 2* *<3 *
Wikipedia <3*, Jonathan Penner *
Season 13 and
Season 16 <--this one he got medevacced*, and Russell Swan *
Season 19*. When they were introduced to their tribes, Matsing and Kalabaw were fitting them for toe tags from the start, but not Tandang--they didn't need to; Skupin is so accident prone, it would not surprise me in the least if he got medevacced again. Swan is probably his worse enemy: pig-headed, stubborn, and ego-centric.
"Hidden" amongst the tribes were two outside celebs, Jeff Kent, and Lisa Whelchel. Both were made by some of the other players, but it hasn't been shown how widespread that information was shared.
In the second episode, Penner, of Kalabaw, found the Hidden Immunity Idol, and in the third episode, Abi-Maria Gomes, of Tandang, found their Idol. The only one unaccounted for was Matsing's. The problem with the first Hidden Immunity Idols was that they were hidden in plain sight, while brilliant, meant that their absence was very conspicuous so not very hidden at all. It's a shame that Gomes found the Idol since she's crazy in a psychotic sort of way. I wouldn't be surprised if she turned on her partner RC, who brought her the clue. RC talks tough, but she lacks Gomes' viciousness.
Matsing was pummeled in the last three challenges. Zane had delusions of being an evil mastermind, but he forgot the first rule of the goblin army, "In the goblin army, you don't have to step forward to be the hero--everyone else just has to step back..." *Thank you
Magic: The Gathering...*. He thought that he had everyone on a string, and volunteered himself as a sacrifice since he expected them to blindside Russell. Not so much. A true evil mastermind would have thrown someone else under the bus.
Next to go was the whiny Xian, Roxy. Just for a change of pace on next season, can they have a whiny Buddhist or something else? They have to be close to maxing out their quota of whiny Xians.
Third to go was Angie Layton. Her cuddling up to Malcolm made everyone nervous of a couple forming so she got axed; Malcolm also voted for her if I remember rightly...
My Final Five: Jonathan Penner, Jeff Kent, Denise Stapley, Malcolm Freberg, and Lisa Whelchel
I think that Jonathan Penner will take it. Third time will be the charm...
The tribes are: Kalabaw, Matsing, and Tandang *Actually, they're yellow, but it looks like crap here...* *<3
