There's no place like home...
Back in Brisbane, after a lovely visit to Sydney, filled with gatherings of family and friends. My garden has survived, and I have ripe tomatoes and rather more rose blossoms than I was expecting waiting for me to see to properly in the morning (must remember to thank the neighbours that kept them watered). It's hotter here than Sydney, and the breeze smells of salt; something I don't normally notice.
On Monday it will be exactly a year since I left to move up here. I think it was the right thing to do, but I miss everyone back home already.
Now to unpack, and hopefully find where I left my work-brain...
