So I promise I haven't dropped off the face of the earth.
Last week and the two upcoming weeks (including this one) are going to be the absolute busiest weeks of my summer. Meetingsmeetingsmeetings combined with work every day combined with the choir workshop that starts tonight combined with volunteering at my church's Vacation Bible School equals a Daniel that is quite swamped. I am, however, very glad that I am starting to be productive with my time and do things that are important.
A couple updates on my life. First, I ordered my two math books offline and they arrived the other day. I have already started reading and trying to understand said books in the hope that the dismal performance in Advanced Calculus will not be repeated. On that note, does anyone have a better definition of open/closed sets that they know of? I find the one in the book kind of confusing. Nerd much? I think so.
Second, it's my 21st birthday on Friday!!!!!! Hooray!! That being said, no I am not going to go out and get wasted. In typical Daniel fashion, the current plan is unique to me. The idea I have right now is to go out to dinner (my mom suggested an Irish pub that's in the area) with some folks, maybe go see Evan Almighty 'cause it comes out on my birthday, and enjoy my weekend off. That being said, if you are able to come down here to see me, anyone on here is more than welcome. Just let me know. If you can't make it, weeeeeeeell, we may be able to arrange some *clears throat* festivities when we all return to Willamette. ;-)
