This time next week I'll be in sunny Santa Barbara. I intend on wearing nothing but my swimsuit and making up for three years without In-n-Out Burger by eating at every one I drive past. I even asked for Friday off so that I could have somewhat of a true vacation

You have no idea of the delighted smile I got when I saw that. I hope I'm the Marly you're asking about because YES! TOTALLY YES!
You can totally crash. And if you need a tour guide, I can also ask for time off and take you to the beaches that are worth it.

Ha of course I was talking about you. I was revising my list of things to do the other day and realized that I really want to get out of the country by this time next year. Puerto Rico seems like a good jumping point, and with my tickets I can fly to Florida and then catch a cheaper flight down that way. Plus, co-worker keeps showing me pictures and it's just such a gorgeous place. I'd probably die to see it not on her digital camera screen.
