Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, Merrily ...
Ok so after yesterday's strange and vivid dream, today I had two strange and vivid dreams, both of which left me in rather a lot of confusion as to whether it had been real or not.
Dream number 1 - It was (apparently) this evening at 9 o clock and I was just chatting to someone over Skype and I was just swigging from my pepsi max can as I said "And I've got through the whole week without caffeine." Pause. Looked at the can that is now empty. "Damn! (Slams down can) I was so close too" Laughter from whoever it was I was talking to. Woke up somewhat blearily due to phone alarm going off. Got up to turn it off. Remembered that I'd failed to go through the week without caffeine and had decided to do it again. Looked for the can I seemed to remember having left on the table. Noted lack of can. Noted today was tuesday. Brain shut down. Slowly it dawned on me that it must have been a dream unless I'd slept for a week ... Couldn't remember it though so ~ Probably a Dream. Noted it was 10.34. Noted I was exhausted. Noted my bed looked very inviting. Back into bed I went. *Shrugs* What else would you expect?
Dream Number 2 - I was lying in bed talking to Elle on my mobile which was resting (I thought) on the pillow next to my head. It was a normal conversation and then she said something like "Oh we still haven't gone to the doctor's have we? We'll have to do that very soon." "Tommorrow?" I asked jokingly (At this point I was floating towards the surface of waking, I think I still said this in the dream itself, but I had this funny feeling I'd said it in my head, but as Elle heard me it didn't seem to matter) "Yes tommorrow" She agreed. This time I managed to say the words out loud, I must have "drifted into consciousness" while not having left the dream quite. "So ... The doctors in Nottingham or in Egham?" I asked. No reply. I turned "Elle?" Then I realised the phone was on the windowsill. That was why she hadn't heard me. Got up, went over to it. Oh dear ~ Somehow we had got disconnected. I really do have terrible signal in my room. Went to phone her back. Somehow my brain gave me a mental kick. Hang on a Minute. How had she heard me before we got cut off? Had she phoned me? If so when had I got out of bed to answer it and then gone back into bed? In any case, Isn't Nottingham a bit far away for a Doctors Appointment just perhaps?
Then later on I was going to phone Elle to tell her of this dream when ... She called me, just as I was about to press the call button. Oh coincidence, coincidence. Lol. I couldn't stop giggling for ages ... =^_^=
Dear, dear, dear. The dreams kinda made me realise that I have a) Very nearly reached the end of my caffeineless and Ice creamless week. But because I'm crazy and I like proving to myself I have willpower, I'm going to do it again. Only this time for some variation, I shall go without chocolate, and I shall draw for at least half an hour everyday for a week. ^_^
Oh and it's Giles' birthday today! He's 16 now. Lol. Somehow it made me feel like I ought to be 17 again ... My crazy mind. In a way I'm rather looking forward to more sleep. (Not that I'm exactly deprived of it >_< ) But I'm interested to see if my mind has anymore tricks to play ...
