(no subject)
I've just been watching the live streams of Springwatch birds patiently sitting on their eggs- there's a little ringed plover and an oyster catcher. They nest on the open ground and seem to stay awake all night, keeping guard. They look so vulnerable! I wonder what they are thinking while they just sit there, and how they feel being all alone in the dark like that. I feel scared just thinking about it, but then I have a slightly paranoid fear of burglers in the night (and day actually, but I've pretty much got over that now).
I need to decide on a final year design project soon, and I don't know what to do. I had so much fun doing the 'Glasgow Bird Stops' this year that I feel I should probably design something to do with wildlife, yet at the same time I want it to be something more complex and technological than a glorified Viewmaster!
