So I figured it's about time for me to update again. Lets see what I can come up with:
- emailed Bergen County Rape Crisis Center, to see if I can do my intership through them. If they deny me, I can garuntee tears. Plus they just finished a Rape Counseling training seminar, so now I'll have to wait until fall to consider doing that. This means that my ideal work for the fall will consist of working Bookstore, Women's Center, Bergen (Intership with out pay), and then at night being on call to counsel. I think I might be on myway to becoming a workaholic. (God forbid I ever get married, I'm sure as hell not doing a 2nd shift. His ass will be helping me or be a stay at home papa. Heh, yea I know, fat chance.)
-Might be losing my job at the bookstore. Ends up our contract came up this year, and so Barnes and Noble is putting in a bid for the store. So if B & N gets it, i'm quitting. Mainly for 2 reasons: I FRIGGIN' HATE RETAIL (so since my manager will be gone, I will have nobody to guilty me into staying) and I think i should calm down with all the jobs.
-Next week is another personal hell week. 2 paper due and a class presentation. Wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't in my procrastinator mood.
-Found 3 dream graduate schools in the following states: NH and MI. Now I just need to find somebody who would be willing to make the drive out there with me. hmmm...
-Learnt my lesson that I am meant to always have a fat ass. Worked out this past weekend, ended up doing more damage than good, so for 2 days I walked like a "cripple" (so says Meesh).
-Next semester's classes are... well I doubt I'll have much free time.
Adult Fieldwork, Intro to Lit, Survey of Brit 1, Stress Management (how fitting!), and Margaret Atwood with Giacoppe.
If it wasn't for me picking up the Lit minor, I would only have to take 1 class next semester. However, that doesn't put the dipolma in my hand, so I suppose I'm making the most of my time.
- Family that is living in England is moving back to the States. Which means that Papa and I won't be visiting them. Sad, but probably cuts out a lot of issues. I believe that Heather and I will be making a trip to Ireland at some point and time.
Alright, that's enough about my boring life. Time to get some breakfast and then "work" in the Women's Center.
peace, and much love.
