Update!

well this has been an eventful past week i would say.  Lindsey and i both took last wednesday-friday off from work as a sort of spring break, since neither of us could take any time off during the actual spring break this week.  so on wednesday i was sitting at home playing video games (like ya do), lindsey had gone home to finish up a load of laundry that she had, when lindsey came back over.  she had brought us a nice subway lunch, it was about 1 45 in the afternoon, and she handed me the bag.  so i was taking the chips out and then i took out the first sandwich and saw a scrap of paper wedged between them.  upon closer inspection it was a note that was wrapped around two tickets to the Franz Ferdinand/Death Cab for Cutie concert at the memorial colliseum that night.  i was very shocked at this very early birthday present.  so we went up to portland on wednesday, had dinner with my mom, and then went to the show.  which was very good.  we spent the next afternoon at the zoo, looking at all the animals.  definately good times.

Dan and i found out about a week ago that our bathtub has been leaking into the apartment below us.  so David, our landlord, has been in and out of the apartment a few times trying to get it fixed, hopefully it'll be fixed after he's finished today.  i don't know how long it's been leaking, because the apartment below is currently empty.  but there was enough damage that they're replacing the ceiling.  well, that's the big stuff for now, hopefully i'll update again soon, but my lunch hour is almost over, so i must scurry back to work.
