Hm

I'm finding it exceptionally hard to fathom having to keep my focus on one place for a very long time, or as a 'reality'. I think I'd rather be here and there, as well as over there, instead of being here or there, and nowhere near over there ( Read more... )

i like being able to ground myself in a home, for the most part. i sort of have an opposite mindset where i find it difficult to thrive if i don't have a set reality that i can call my life outside of uber

it's probably just because of the way i developed, since when i first came around it's simply the way things were. maybe i am getting old ( ̄~ ̄;)

I suppose if there as a reality that was rooted enough where it kept my attention and contentment, I'd be happy to be a part of it, and stick to it. But it seems these days people are more flighty, and I don't know if I want to deal with in and outs. If I have to do that, I may as well be homeless, na?

-Laughs.- Maybe you are, but with age comes wisdom. At least, in most cases, anyway.

mm.. i think one of the reasons people are more inclined not to ground themselves somewhere in earnest is the prevalence of uber that's taken over. it's not necessarily bad, but it's sort of diminished the value of homes in themselves for a lot of people. thankfully i think there are still some that can look past it

i hope so. i want something in exchange for my youth ( '_' );

Ah, this is very true. I'm newborn, obviously, and yet not naive to what the past was like. I think uber has taken over, more than it probably should have, and yet I'm not inclined to be bothered by it so much. I entirely understand for anyone who was around before it, or even wants to simply exist without the pretense of outside knowledge. It's a taste thing, I figure.

You'll always have your youthful looks, Maosan. ^^

aa - like i said, it doesn't really trouble me. i just wish it could be paired with a more serious interest in homes, rather than seemingly outweighing them. i'm happy with my situation in either case

until i start balding :p

I'm glad that you have that happiness; everyone should be able to be comfortable in their existence.

I think you'd look smashing even without hair :O
