Low-key night

I'm sitting here, watching a creepy little anime called "Higurashi--When They Cry." I'm getting to the end of the first story arc, and it's become very reminiscent of "Children of the Corn." Pretty good stuff.

Writing wise, I have three stories ready to be sent out, two regular-length and two flash pieces, which technically count as one. I've been going through my copy of Writer's Market, and I've discovered I'll probably need to invest in the copy of Writer's Market that concerns itself with short stories. Either that or sign up for a subscription with the electronic version. I do like being able to flip through pages of the book, though. And the interviews they give are really informative.

I've got another couple stories that I'm going to finish up, and then I'm not sure. I was thinking I was going to start on the unfinished novel I have. I reread the last part of it, and discovered it was surprisingly good. And I would dearly love to finish it. Then again, I have some great ideas for two other short stories which I could do. I think maybe it's time I really buckled down and finished the novel, much as I hate to leave those two short stories hanging.
