I'm off Facebook
Well after very little debate with myself, I deactivated my Facebook account.
Privacy issues were a concern. But there was also the question of people acting a certain way on it that they wouldn't have had the balls to do face-to-face. I know it's not specific to Facebook, but being un-friended by people who had asked you in the first place is a little weird for me, especially since nobody even bothered trying to talk to me about anything. If someone has a problem with me and they can't be bothered to even talk to me about it, then they're not worth my time. I'm not interested in pointless relationships like these and I have no desire to put any more energy into this. The world can keep on "socially networking" to its heart's content without me if it wants, I'm out. I had a very productive life before Facebook came along, I will after as well.
So to anyone who had me in their friends list on Facebook and are also here on LJ, this is now my last and only blog-social-network-type-thing left. If anybody wants to get in touch they can figure it out, and if they can't, too bad.
