Eeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!
The horrendous week of four exams is over!
What's more, today's italian oral exam actually went rather well. I babbled on about youth culture and the annoyingness of chavs and their silly cars, then a bit about books and films, and then the tape conveniently ran out just as the time limit was coming up and saved me from having to talk about a third topic, and it was all over and done with nice and quickly and without any other languages putting in an appearance that weren't supposed to.
Quite a nice change compared to yesterday's spanish exam, which was, well, BAD. The letter in reponse to an article was on a topic we had never ever covered and knew nothing about. The choice of essays were all the sort of questions where you just think "what IS there to say about that?" The summary of a text, as per usual, just didn't fit in the word count at all. And when I got to the translation and read the source text -- the ENGLISH source text -- my first thought was "wtf is it on about?"
At least everyone else I spoke to seemed to think the same though, so hopefully they will mark it nicely.
And next week, I only have three exams :D The fact I am saying this with a huge grin my face makes me think I may have already gone mad from over-revision, but still, ONLY THREE EXAMS!!!!!!!
And as for now, I have pink wine, I have the internet which is really quite lively atm probably thanks to exams driving students the world over to procrastinate en masse, and it is Ed's 20th tomorrow and Ed does good parties and I've hardly seen him this year which is a pity coz we always have a great laugh together!
And now I'm going to end here coz I need another glass of wine x
