Joy, thy name is Mac
Today I am a very happy kitten. I am the proud new owner of a brand spanking new iMac! She is prettier than any computer I have ever owned and takes up almost no space, which actually makes my tiny little desk seem normal sized. Yay for sensible, aesthetically pleasing technology! Of course, I clearly have a few things to learn about Macs - like what happened to the handy Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V functions? - but I expect it to be lots of fun to learn.
In other news, my research partner will not have to die an ugly and untimely death. The first draft is finished, after much writing and banging of my head against the wall, and it's pretty good, if I do say so myself. My partner was pleased with all the changes I made, so I think we're in the home stretch now. I am so glad tomorrow is Friday.
