Happy Thoughts
So I had the first of two lectures on Psychopathy yesterday in my behavioural neuroscience class. It was awesome! I'm not sure what it says about me but that lecture put me in such a good mood. I talked to my prof after class about a few things relating to the brain and genetics and personality disorders. My thesis has slowly been forming in my head over the last few weeks. There is a lot of previous research I have to read before I will know the exact details of what I want to do, but with a little help from this prof I think it could be really cool. Too bad I can't start that for another year!
I also asked her if she had any work I could help with over the summer and she said yes, so I am very excited about that. I think I have been really lucky so far - I have had really good profs every semester and I've learned much more than I ever could have anticipated. It has also been really good for me personally. I've made some great friends and I have finally found a place where I feel excited and confident and totally comfortable.
Now, on a completely unrelated note - who here is planning to go see Jello Biafra in April?
