So I followed through with what I said I would do and did ten minutes on the treadmill when I got home from work last night. I was exhausted and all I wanted to do was go to bed so I really just squeezed it in. I did do some interval jogging with my little beginner walks though and here’s the result:
Today I had a triple split shift at work. That means I had a morning, lunch and night shift with my client. I got a break in between each but I’ve more or less spent the day working with my client. This proved to be a challenge for me trying to fit in some exercise, because I had a standing “date” with one of my friends that lives in the area. She and I go to lunch and shop after my lunch shift. So I knew that working out then was out. Which would have been the perfect time too because it’s three and a half hours break in between my lunch and night shift. So instead I had to fit my workout between my morning and lunch shift.
It was kinda fun? I mean I even did a whole hour of it and I had time for a quick sweat rinse in the shower before I went back to work. I pushed myself really hard during it too. For the first 30 minutes it made my legs ache, but once I got past the 40 minute mark I got into a kind-of zen. It was an awesome feeling. I want to try to get there again tomorrow. Because of todays push I was really proud of myself. I didn’t quite get up to 300 calories, but 200 isn’t too shabby. I’m going to aim for 300 tomorrow, and try to achieve 300 for the rest of the week. Slowly moving my way up to 500 calories a day.
My friend and I tried out a new-ish (or rather, new to us) burger joint called Global Burger. It was so delicious. The server lady was like a super woman. She was the cashier, the cook, the fryer, and the waitress all at once. Chloe and I weren’t the only customers either so she was really amazing. I was also able to get Mum a birthday present while I was out. Her birthday is next week and I need to be prepared. I still need to buy her more things for her 41st birthday but so far so good.
Well, That’s all from me.
Until next time,
