The Pet-demic
Last evening, when I was out for a stroll to clear my thoughts and enjoy the clear night air, I saw the most unique sight. One that, I must profess, makes me wonder whether I saw it, or if it was an apparition of the night, an illusion or act of hypnosis. After all, it is not quite a regular occurrence to see a young woman running about with four kittens and a turtle in her arms.
...ah. Upon further analysis, I see that it was the kind-hearted acts of one of the students to assist some stray kittens another had seen in passing. What wonderful actions to admire her for.
One wonders, as they gaze about this sort of strange scenario, exactly what has become of this world. Once, I carried the belief that all could be righted with but minor effort, but I see now that it will take much more than this. I have patience to see it through, but the resources are lacking.
