In related news, I've had 4 jobs in 3 weeks, hired at 3 of them in the past 2 weeks. Now I only have one and I start next week. Nobody has seen has many training videos as me. I'm looking forward to being a waitress again, only not having to wear a tie and fake smile.

Jackie's coming to visit me this month! I haven't seen her in 3 years. She's one of my longest-running friends... We met during marching band practice somewhere in the summer of '97, very soon after I moved to Florida with my mother, Yar and step-brother. I was only in band for one year (9th grade), but all throughout high school, Jackie took me to Disney World and to church youth group and to see The Sixth Sense, and we had a favorite English teacher and stuff (Ms. Jones, but she's white.) We were very adorable, and even though I've grown into this twisted aloof psychotic thing, Jackie is still very much adorable in every way. She even teaches 4th grade. I have no idea why, but she still hearts me and is quite the perennial friend. So we're going to hang out in Boston and carve pumpkins and shite.

Oh, and there's been a return of the Becka in my life. We've been frequenting the Green Martini, as she is trying to recapture the decadent glory of our early-early twenties. I don't mind it at all. It's like nothing has changed. We are planning on fleeing to Chicago in November to see a very rare Tahiti 80 show and be in the Oprah Show audience. Zuzanna, get ready!

Other than that, things have been normal. I went to an awesome show at the Middle East this month: Electrix Six, and some other bands I don't know. Ryan and Jayme haven't called me since. I think it was because I perspired a lot and smelled pretty much like a bad cheese the whole time. Fuck, I don't blame them. I also had a date the other night to go to the 313 with this kid with dreds and a beard who listens to Michelle Branch. And he blew me off. I can't believe it's come down to that. Somebody slap me. Hard. Thanks for reading.
