The more I think about it the more excited I am for this movie. I kind of totally wanted Rachel to fall for Ethan in the book, especially when Dex was being a little douchey and running back to Darcy. I wonder if they'd change the ending for the movie? (Doubtful, but John Krasinski makes a good case by being adorable.)
From what I understand, John K is in contract for Something Borrowed & Blue so if they follow the story, they already set up the romcom trope of two characters who dislike one another with Ethan & Darcy. I just hope he doesn't lose his edge when the love story starts.
Although there could be a Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason situation arising -- that Something Blue would be just a movie in name only, and they create a whole different story. I love Ethan being snarky and funny so him commenting on Darcy's change of heart is heaven.
