Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin

It's about Rachel who's the maid of honor to bride-to-be & best friend Darcy. And about how she gets into an affair with Dex, the fiance.

It's a great beach read. The writer succeeds in making the cheaters sympathetic, although I wish Rachel was little bit more assertive and less wimpy. Despite that, I find her to be relatable; in fact, all her characters are easy to like, despite being flawed.

And now, there's a movie:

The casting seems perfect and despite me having reservations about Colin Egglesfield's acting, he looks the part of Dex. And I'm excited about John Krasinski being Ethan -- from what I could see, he is now the amalgam of two of my favorite characters in the book: Ethan & Hillary, who provide encouragement and color commentary to what's happening.

I think I like the changes they made to the book with regards to Ethan and making it more of a romcom. I can't wait.
