Happy Birthday to me! (Almost.)

I think I'm the only person I know that doesn't complain about growing old and not being a teen. I'm actually very happy that I'm growing up! I was out stationery shopping with Wendy today, and we were talking about childhood friends. & found out that we share a same best friend! Only I knew that girl in kindergarten and Wendy knew her in primary school. Talk about coincidences!

I retrace my steps in my mind, and I suddenly feel that everything I've done is a mistake.

I just wrote a letter for SwapBot and recollected the memories of Secondary 4 (or 5, since I retained) in MGS. Although I was going through much shit during that period of time, it was also one of the best days of my school life.

My brother was talking about how $10 could last him a day during his Polytechnic days. On good days, he could even have enough left for the next day.

Today I got $50 from Mom. After purchasing a pack of cigarettes (the cheapest I could find), topping up my card, lunch & dinner... I spent a whopping 70%. Within 12 hours.

My godmother had always been suicidal. I remember once when I was still little, I went to the hospital to visit her. She had tried to kill herself by overdosing on pills. When I was little, I would watch this show on tape before my daily afternoon naps. I've been meaning to watch it again, but we don't have a tape player anymore. (Who does?)
