My mom has a touchtel (or is it Airtel?) broadband connection at home. AFAIK, its through ADSL - and the modem is a USB model. So heres my question to anyone here who's aware of these things
( Read more... )
Yep, it's Airtel. Touchtel is now the defunct name.
A. Airtel does provide a router which connects to a RJ45 jack/ethernet card. B. I have not personally installed a Wireless network(I guess you mean WiFi or is it proper wireless lan?) but airtel itself provides WiFi hubs(though cheaper ones are available in the market) One good product is the one from Panasonic(I think. My uncle uses one. I can find out the actual model and make if you want.)
Any more questions, feel free to ask me.
Powerbook... /me starts drooling. Wish I could afford one too ;-)

Powerbook... /me starts drooling hehe...yeah, I like my iBook, but it just doesn't compare to this machine...
I have a Motorola wireless router at home (and it sux), but I'd prefer to get the Apple Airport Extreme. A little costly, yes, but its worth the painless installation and gr8 feature set...
